Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the website and desktop software, mobile apps and games (together, the “Apps”) provided by EMECH CENTER OÜ, registry code 17294158, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using an App you agree to these Terms. The terms of Google Play or the Apple App Store also apply to your download.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Apps on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the Apps except as permitted by law.

2. Engineering calculations — important

Our engineering Apps provide calculation aids based on published methods and standards. Results depend on the inputs you provide and on simplifying assumptions. They are intended to support, not replace, the judgement of a qualified professional. You are responsible for verifying results and for compliance with applicable codes, standards and local regulations before using them in design, construction or installation.

3. Purchases and software licences

In-app purchases in our mobile apps are sold through Google Play or the Apple App Store and are subject to their payment and refund rules. Purchases on our website (mep.center) are processed by our payment provider. Desktop software licences (PAFTA, TEKHAT) are bound to the number of computers purchased and are described on each product page; trials are fully functional for the stated period. Statutory consumer rights in the EU remain unaffected.

3a. Math Warriors — virtual items

Coins, passes, avatars, gear and themes are a limited licence to use virtual content inside the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money or transferred to another account, and are lost if the account is deleted or terminated for breach of these Terms. Except where required by law, purchases of virtual items are non-refundable once delivered.

3b. Math Warriors — community rules

Accounts, chat and friends are for players aged 13 and over. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, sexual content, sharing of personal information, spam, cheating or use of bots or exploits. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. Report problems to dev@emechcenter.com.

4. Intellectual property

The Apps, website, text, graphics, logos and code are owned by or licensed to EMECH CENTER OÜ and are protected by copyright and other laws. Content you create in the Apps remains yours.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Apps, interfere with their operation, or use them for any unlawful purpose.

6. Availability and updates

We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep the Apps available and working correctly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Apps are provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from reliance on calculation results without professional verification. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
